Job Description:
As a Sr.Java Backend Engineer build highly scalable and available complex services for Message Service TOB services
Mandatory Skills:
· Strong understanding of Java, object oriented design and web development
· Experience with service oriented architectures using Web Services, REST, JSON/SOAP, XML and JAXB
· Solid understanding of Spring Framework
· Strong command on SQL and experience with Hibernate. Oracle database experience would be a plus.
· Experience using JBoss or other similar app server and web server technology
· Experience with performance tuning and monitoring would be desired.
· "Self-starter" attitude and the ability to drive decisions
Desired Skills:
· Experience Web front-end development using: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Extjs or any JS framework, Spring MVC, AJAX, GWT
· Experience with performance tuning using Silk, Jmeter, etc
· Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Wiley, etc).
· Build and deployment experience with: Maven, Hudson, etc
· Experience with Agile product development
· Experience with SAAS product development
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
· BS in Computer Science (or related degree); M.S. C.S. preferred
· 5+ year of solid software engineering experience with building highly scalable and available complex services.
