IP Telephony Systems Engineer - UC

• Applies business and technical analytical skills to analyze, implement and deploy comprehensive support processes to resolve complex business & operational issues involving multi-tiered Cisco IP (internet protocol) Telephony applications.
• Implements Cisco IP Telephony solutions and project plans thru implementation of Cisco Unified Communication applications including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voice Mail, Cisco Emergency Responder in a UCS and non-UCS environment.
• Applies knowledge of Cisco IOS voice gateways, call manager express, integration of Cisco CUBE sbc, and VOIP and TDM physical services
• Works with various IT development teams to integrate custom-developed and 3rd-party provided software and hardware solutions including software applications, IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Call Center and data base integration with the Cisco IP Telephony infrastructure.
• Prepares documentation and conducts training and user orientation for clients detailing configuration of proposed and deployed solutions.
• Participates, as a key member of the Telecommunications team,  in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core LAN/WAN services  required for VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) deployments including QOS (Quality of Service), COS (Class Of Service) VLAN's (Virtual Local Area Network), SBC's (Session Border Controller) and SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) Carrier Services
• Interprets network alert and performance management tool output to properly engineer the capacity and resiliency of the UC (Unified Communications) portion of the VoIP network.
• Maintains knowledge of Cisco UC (Unified Communications Call Manager) and network enhancements through both personal and company-sponsored continual education including training courses, seminars, conferences, professional publications.

Telecom Operation - CISCO Call Mgr

1. Implement and maintain comprehensive support processes to resolve complex business & operational issues involving multi-tiered Cisco IP (internet protocol) Telephony applications.
2. Applies knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony applications including Cisco CVP/ICM (Cisco Voice Portal/Intelligent Contact Manager) Enterprise call routing, Cisco IPCC (IP Contact Center), VXML (Voice Extensible Markup Language) Gateways.
3. Works with various IT development support teams to maintain system availability levels and provides 3rd level support engineering.
4. Maintains documentation and conducts training and user orientation for clients detailing configuration of proposed and deployed solutions.
5. Participates, as a key member of the Telecommunications team,  supporting, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core LAN/WAN services  required for VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) deployments including QOS (Quality of Service), COS (Class Of Service) VLAN's (Virtual Local Area Network), SBC's (Session Border Controller) and SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) Carrier Services.
6. Monitors network alert and performance management tool output and provides input on the capacity and resiliency of the UCC (Unified Call Center) portion of the VoIP network.
7. Maintains knowledge of Cisco UCC/UCM (Unified Call Manager) and network enhancements through both personal and company-sponsored continual education including training courses, seminars, conferences, professional publications.

Fortinet Network Security Eng (Checkpoint firewall)

• Strong exposure to Checkpoint Firewall environment - Must have managed multiple CMA s
• Strong knowledge on using Provider 1 to administer the Checkpoint CMAs
• Worked with very large corporations and complex data center environment
• Working experience on Cisco ASA Firewall and managing VPN s on ASA.
• Working knowledge on Fortinet Firewalls

Enterprise System Monitoring (ESM) Tools - EMC SMARTS

• Smarts (SAM) Service Assurance Manager
• Smarts IP (AM/PM) Availability and Performance module
• Smarts (ACM) Application Connectivity Manager
• Smarts (EISM) Enhanced Server Manager
• Smarts (OI) Open Integrations
• Smarts (BIM) Business Impact Manager

Security Technology Support

• Provide L1/L2 support for security technologies; handle service requests and Incidents and ID Administration task if required.
• Update regular vendor released signatures for applicable system.
• Communication and coordination with product vendor for bug fixes and enhancement requests
• Ability to administer and support the following technologies:
o RSA SecurID Software & Appliance
o BlueCoat Proxy, Director, Reporter
o RSA Data Protection Manager
o RSA Certificate Manager
o Xceedium
o McAfee End Point Encryption
