US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Sr Java Developer/Architect position @ Columbus, OH

Location: Columbus, OH

Hands-on technical developer, highly skilled, some architecture exposure preferred, to work on client retail application infrastructure projects. Good communication skills a must. very strong developer with core Java skills to work on retail banking applications. Technical architecture experience would be a bonus but is not a firm requirement

 

Requirements:

·         Develop and enhance applications based on specifications.

·         Codes and tests according to design specifications.

·         Skilled in coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.

·         Unit test applications and develops system and user documentation. Some responsibility over other developers with less experience.

·         10+ years of related and progressively more responsible experience.

·         Leads on the formulation and application of strategy.

·         Applies the highest level of management and leadership skills.

·         Has a deep understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging technologies for the wider business environment.

·         Has a full range of strategic management and leadership skills.

·         Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas with their impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.

·         Has a broad and deep subject matter knowledge. Has authority and responsibility for all aspects of a significant area of work, including policy formation and application.

·         Is fully accountable for actions taken and decisions made, both by self and subordinates
