Position: SharePoint Project Lead 

LOCATION:    San Jose, CA

 

DURATION:     6+ month contract

INTERVIEW:   Face to Face after phone interview 

Candidates should have the following project experience

 

1.       Sharepoint 2007 or 2010 administration

2.       VMFS upgrade (VM FileSystem)

3.       Implement Crashplan for MACs and operationalize it

4.       Implement SIEM http://www.nitrosecurity.com/products/

5.       Building 3000 HP tape library -  Renewal

6.       Daily health check portal using monitoring software

7.       IP Management Tool – Simple tool to manage IP addresses

 

 Project Lead

 

We are looking for Engineers with project management experience to support project management and documentation.  Candidate will be responsible for reporting current schedule, issues affecting the schedule and major accomplishments.  In collaboration with the customer, candidate will assist in defining project scope, resources, goals, and deliverables.

 

Essential Job Duties:

·         Estimation of resources and participants needed to achieve operational goals

·         Development of full scale project plans and associated communication documents

·         Effective communication with team and project stakeholders

·         Management of project dependencies and critical path while planning, scheduling, and tracking milestones using Microsoft Project

·         Development and delivery of progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations

·         Shadowing engineers to document processes, job duties, systems, etc.

·         Facilitation of meetings across multiple organizations

·         Providing weekly reports

Required Skills:

·         Minimum 1 year of systems engineering experience to include general infrastructure knowledge

·         Minimum 1 year performing project management of activities

·         Use of MS Project and MS Office Suite

·         Must be a self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to engineering changes
