Title: SQL Server Developer
Location: Melville, NY
Duration: 6 months

 

Job Description:  

Cubes design and development; work with technical and business users and play an advisory role when required. Advise the team and set up tools and techniques for best practices; advice team as to where the reports logic should be incorporated (e.g. stored proc, datamarts, embedded in reports) enabling code to be reusable; push back if requirements are not feasible; evaluate and recommend tools that can self-serve the user. High data volume cubes and the different design patterns they enforce. High volume and near real time loading experience.

 

Required Skills/Background:

 5+ years experience as a SQL Server 2005 DBA/DesigneR

4+ years experience in Business Intelligence, including Cube design and development

3+ years experience in SSIS (SQL Server 2005 Integration Services)

1+ years experience SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Lead

Demonstrable experience in high data volume cubes and the different design patterns they enforce.

High volume and near real time loading experience.
