US CONSULTING - CONTRACT NEED:- Java Developer with Spring @ Cincinnati, OH

Job Title: J2EE Developer with strong knowledge in Spring

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 1+ year

 

Job Description: 

 

Experience: 5+ years

 

Candidate will be responsible for supporting clients in all issues related to the consumption of a web service and for performing root cause analysis of all issues arising as a result of consumer calls to the web service. Candidate will also be responsible for delivering minor bug fixes but no major enhancements as part of the support team expectations. The candidate is expected to have good working/hands-on experience of the Java Programming language, Spring framework, Web Services and knowledge of relational Database concepts. The web service is Apache-CXF based and executes JRules/WODM rules applications deployed on a relational database. However, it's understood that the candidates may not have the product specific knowledge, which will be transferring knowledge on the specific products/tools.

 

·Ability to communicate promptly, clearly and effectively.

·Strong relationship-building skills, adaptable and flexible

·Experience with UNIX/Linux OS and the tcServer runtime.  (Understanding of Server configuration)

·Basic understanding of Rule Engine Technologies (preferably Jrules/WODM)

·Ability to perform builds and releases in Jenkins/Hudson.

·Understanding of SQL, JEE, Spring IoC and JAX-WS is preferred but not required.

·Ability to search for Exceptions in log monitoring tool (Splunk) and perform root cause analysis.

·Understanding of users and roles in relational databases (PostgreSQL RDBMS preferred)and how they are provisioned,  ability to navigate databases, schemas, tables and views.

·Clear understanding of State Farm's Self-Service portal functionalities as it pertains to all aspects of application deployment.

·Good understanding of web services (WSRR) as it pertains to producer and consumer registrations.

·Basic understanding of F5.

·Clear understanding of ESBs (preferably Mule Flows.)

·Understanding of JNDI
