Hi, Hope all is well at your end... My client is looking for a Scrum Master in Huston TX. Title: Scrum Master Location: Huston TX Duration: 06 Months (Extendable) Experience Required: 7+ Yrs. Job Description: The Scrum Master is a facilitative leadership role that ensures that the team adheres to its chosen Scrum process and methodology. The Scrum Master is a real team player that ensures the team is fully functional and productive by coaching Agile/Scrum principles and practices, enables close cooperation across all roles and functions by creating an environment conducive to self-organization, shields the team from external interferences and removes impediments, enforces time boxes and promotes improved engineering practices, provide clear and frequent communication. Skills/Knowledge (including but not limited to): • Deep understanding (proven experience) of development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) • Experience in software development and software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Experience in managing scrum projects from inception • Release planning and management and incremental development • Facilitation skills (scrum ceremonies, other communication opportunities as needed, collaboration) • Presentation skills (speak technically and on a business level, various audience , leadership) • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills (speak in front of senior leadership) • Flexibility (help and/or facilitate (team) ability to adapt to change easily) • Motivate (self-motivation, coaching, and ability to motivate) • Entrepreneurial mindset (mental agility, self-motivation, forward thinking, creativity, quick thinking) • Organized (multi-tasking, organizing chaos, priorities, etc (needs wording work)) • Understand concept and perform with servant leadership – Prioritizing the Team and its success above personal goals or gains. • Education and Experience equally evaluated for relevance • 6+ Years’ Experience of 'hands on' Scrum Master experience on a large diverse project team Looking forward to your response...
