Phone interview first and then face to face
Must have extensive experience with Universe Design and PL/SQL. Some experience with BO 4.0 would be a plus.
Designs the Business Objects 4.0 data foundation, business layers and reports required to support the reporting requirements of client's Home Entertainment division. Is an expert in Business Objects 4.0 Oracle PL/SQL. Creates and delivers IT and end-user training. Supports the enhancement of existing Business Objects Xi and Crystal Reports.
Responsibilities include:
Write and execute SQL statements to aid helping design reports.
Work closely with the business and IT teams in design discussions, reviews and test cycles.
Work closely with the business and IT teams to determine steps to produce reports in an agile methodology.
Review and analyze 2/3 Level Support issues.
Extend design of Data Foundation and Business layers to support replacement of freehand SQL reports with Universe based reports.
Review current universe/reporting design and propose changes.
Provides delivery estimates for project planning purposes.
Identify, track and follow through on issues and defects.
Manage scope and priorities to complete development efforts on time.
Insure the deliverables and activities comply with requirements and meet best practices guidelines.
Key outputs include:
Document Report Designs/Mock-Ups
Document Departmental Best Practices
Contribution of documentation to IT knowledge database
