Job; MicroStrategy Architect

Location:  Newport Beach, CA.    

Duration: 12 months

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the client in implementing MicroStrategy 9.x platform

• Review and validate the architecture for the two initial mobile reporting applications to be built

• Direct and train client developers in building best in class mobile solutions based on MicroStrategy

• Review and assist in identifying nest set of target reporting applications to build          

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have about 10 years of MicroStrategy experience

• Understand MicroStrategy 9.x capabilities to validate setup and implementation

• Hands on experience with MicroStrategy "Data Architect", Reporting and mobile

• Solid understanding of Star/snowflake modeling to build cubes and experience with MicroStrategy caching

• Very Good experience with core data warehousing concepts.

• Must have exceptional analytical skills and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Must be able to demonstrate a clear and organized approach to solving complex problems

• Strong experience in business intelligence solutions

• Strong work ethic with ability to succeed in a minimally structured environment.

• Flexible, resourceful, and creative in approach

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Understanding of the Asset management business focused on mutual funds
