Job Description:
Ruby on Rails development position needed for all aspects of the SDLC. Individuals will analyze and develop applications.

Experience:
2 + yrs. of RoR (Ruby on Rails) development targeting the J2EE platform utilizing:

o   Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving

o   Tackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issues

o   fast paced agile environment with continuous integration

o   unit/integration/load/performance testing

·         web-technologies such as HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX

·         Tackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issues

·         Experience developing Web 2.0/3.0 sites and working with lightweight web services.

·         Must have a strong command of web standards and best practices

• Work with business staff and management team to plan and design web applications
• Develop web applications, and maintain existing applications
• Formulate and execute on plans to enhance existing applications
• Manage deployment and implementation of web applications

·         Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator (sales oriented in approach). Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
