Job Description:

Seeking a software developer with experience creating and supporting
Microsoft and custom applications that provide Messaging and
Collaboration services to an entrprise organization.
The person selected will be assigned to software development and
support assignments within our client's Messaging and Collaboration
Team.
Following are the skills & experiences needed to be successful in the role:

Programming Environments:

·VS2010/2008
·C#, ASP.Net (2.0, 3.5, 4.0), ADO.Net, AJAX, XML, WCF, Silverlight
·Classic ASP, VB6, VBA
·HTML/DHTML (JavaScript, VB Script, CSS)
· Power Shell

Databases:

· MS SQL Server

Applications:

· Microsoft Exchange 2010
· Active Directory
· LYNC 2010

Operating Systems:

· Windows Server 2003/2008
· Windows XP/7

Service Management:

· Change Management Control
· Service Management Skills
· Problem Management (Troubleshooting and Resolution)


Responsibilities of the position includes:
·Designing, Proposing, Implementing, and Supporting Microsoft
solutions consisting of all of some of the following products: Office
Communications, Server/Lync , 2010, Exchange Server 2007/2010, Active
Directory.
·Act as a technical lead on Microsoft solutions/projects
·Working closely with customers (internal and external) to understand
and manage expectations and capabilities.

Requirements:
·General understanding of Quality of Service technologies, Federation,
and Voice technologies.
· Ability to implement and manage MS Lync 2010 and MS server infrastructure.
· Has participated in multiple MS infrastructure and Lync 2010
projects by consulting, implementing, and/or migrating.
· Knowledge of Microsoft's infrastructure, messaging and collaboration
products, including Exchange and SharePoint.
· Experience installing, configuring, or administering of Lync 2010
· Lync/OCS experience: IM, Presence, Live Meeting
· Lync/OCS problem troubleshooting and resolution
· Ability to problem solve, identify alternative solutions, and
communicate best practices
· Broad knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies
· Firm understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
· Strong consulting, communication and documentation skills
· Able to work efficiently both in team environment and independently
· Good written and verbal communications
