Job Title: .NET Developer with Cognos Experience

Duration: Longterm

Location: Brooklyn NY

Interview Type: Face 2 Face

Rate :$40/hr

Important Note: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience Required

Job Description:

The candidate's primary responsibility will be to develop internet web-based application using Microsoft .Net framework. The candidate must specifically possess expertise through experience with features unique to the Cognos Business Objects architecture for data access, reporting, and information delivery. The candidate must know how to use Cognos, Crystal to integrate seamlessly with data, web, and rich client to create reports of any relational data source. Candidate must have experience with Version 8.4.1 of Cognos Reports.

Additionally, candidate must have experience with writing and optimizing stored procedures for SQL Server using TSQL and an in depth understanding of SQL Server's transaction level and implications of physical data modeling.

Required Skills: (The skills listed below require a minimum of 4 years experience.)

• Advanced Microsoft .Net framework programming, VB.Net, JavaScript, Entity Framework, SourceSafe

• SQL Server 2005, procedures, functions, triggers, views. SQL query performance analysis and optimization

• Web programming technologies: ASP.Net, CSS, XML, Ajax

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience using Cognos 8 - 10, Crystal Reports 9 – 10

• Preferable knowledge of C# and jQuery
