Job Description:
N-tier web based system to track OMH forensic patients and their events (court orders, applications, designations, etc)
Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:
1. Prepare database scripts for the purpose of creating new Oracle tables, modifying the structure of existing tables, creating indexes, constraints, triggers, etc
2. Create Oracle stored procedures and packages
3. Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and write code using C# .NET, Java, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF
4. Use Team Foundation Server as a repository for the source code, for checking code in and out, branching off new versions of the source code, and for tracking project work items
5. Use Crystal Reports version 13 to create new and enhance existing reports
6. Publish new versions of the application to the Development platform
7. Create detailed instructions for, and use HP Service Center software to set up change requests for migration of new versions of the application to QA and Production platforms
8. Use agile development practices – attend scrum meetings, sprint planning and review meetings, and code the desired functionality, based on "user stories", into the application.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
- Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work
- Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions
Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle: PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc, plus a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data (such as Toad).
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or higher
- Demonstrated experience programming web based applications in NET C#
- Demonstrated experience developing multi tier web based applications
- Demonstrated experience with Team Foundation Server, using source code management, including branching, plus work items functionality
- Demonstrated experience with Ajax/Java Script/Cascading Style Sheets/HTML/XML
- Demonstrated experience developing web services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Demonstrated experience using a Data Manipulation Tool such as Toad, SQL Developer, SQL Plus, etc
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment
- Designing Crystal Reports and invoking them from web based applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations
