Position Description   This position is to serve as a hands-on senior developer for implementing and maintaining solutions in the development group in Bank IT. The role requires expertise in core Java, Java-based frameworks, and strong OO analysis and design skills. The position will require working as a lead developer, consulting with other architects, developers, technology teams, and business users to analyze and understand requirements, and to design and develop solutions.   

Skills Required  

* Expertise in core Java programming (5 + years)

* Working knowledge of core Spring framework

* Strong understanding of relational databases (Sybase), JDBC, Stored Procedures

* Working knowledge of web services - SOAP, REST, CXF, Axis

* Knowledge of UI frameworks ExtJS and GWT, Javascript, AJAX , MVC frameworks, Freemarker

* Experience using Linux/UNIX environment

* Good communication skills   

Skills Desired  

* Experience working with the Eclipse IDE

* Experience with workflow/BPMS tools

* Understanding of mortgages and the mortgage origination process
