Job Title : Ruby Developer (DC area)-immediate contract

 

Primary Skills : Ruby 8.1, Ruby on rails 3.0, HTML CSS SQL migrations

Location : DC area

Rate : market, # of Positions : 2, Duration : 6 months plus possible extention

 

Description :

Absolutely Required! Experience in:
• Ruby 1.8/1.9
• Ruby on Rails 3.0 or later
• Ruby on Rails views using HTML and CSS
• SQL, Migrations

Should be well-versed with:
• JQuery
• Ajax
• Webservices Development using SOAP, XML, and REST
• Developing in a Unix/Linux environment
• Git
• PostgreSQL Database
• Test Frameworks like Minitest, RSpec etc.

It would be a plus if you have worked on
• Active Admin
• Background Jobs processing with Resque/Delayed Job/Sidekiq
• PL/pgSQL with PostgreSQL
• Email Marketing solutions using ExactTarget
