Location:  Albany, NY

Duration: - - 24 Months

 

 

Job Description:

 

SharePoint Statewide and Facility Intranet Design and Implementation.

 

Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

 

• Design, develop and maintain key application components using Microsoft C#.Net.
• Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc.
• Implement and customize SharePoint Site Collections, document libraries and team and project sites.
• Implement custom-based lists and workflows using SharePoint designer 2010, InfoPath 2010 or C#.NET.
• Use Business Data Catalog (BDC) to create Business Intelligence dashboards.
• Configure the Search in the Shared Services to crawl specific sites and Configure search on different SharePoint sites as per business requirements.
• Debug the application and perform the unit testing, system integration testing in development and in production.
• Participates in the development of software user manuals and end-user documents.
• Assists in the training of less experienced software development staff.

 

 

Mandatory Requirement:

 

Experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:

 

• Demonstrable experience building SharePoint lists, workflows, and web parts using out-of-the-box SharePoint components and/or Visual Studio 2008/2010.
• Demonstrable experience with installing, deploying and configuring SharePoint solution files and features via scripting including Windows PowerShell.
• Demonstrable experience building SharePoint forms using Microsoft InfoPath 2007/2010.
• Demonstrable experience with the use of SharePoint Designer 2007/2010 to customize web sites.
• Demonstrable experience with SharePoint Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services.
• Demonstrable experience with SharePoint backup and restore techniques.
• Demonstrable experience maintaining Web Front End servers, and Application/Central
• Administration servers.
• Demonstrable experience performing the setup and configuration of SharePoint Services.
• Demonstrable experience with installing 3rd party add-on tools/products for SharePoint.
• Demonstrable experience reviewing and analyzing system logs, Microsoft and third-party management products to preemptively detecting and correcting system issues.
