We are looking for Java Architect (ASP/.NET/C#) – Location – Los Angeles, CA – 3+ Months Contract To Hire Position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•       Provide all levels of design required including: infrastructure, application, and business processes for the implementation of the system

•       Oversee the design of the integration architecture between the system and legacy systems such as rating, policy administration, and custom legacy system

•       Oversee system configuration including: forms, business rules, and workflow and customizations/extensions as required by the business

•       Work with IT and business owners to understand business requirements and strategy related to the assigned line of business

•       Mentor and lead the project team in developing the solution, and occasionally participate in the development

•       Create design documents for custom components to be implemented

•       Run project meetings with the team, track tasks, issues and progress

•       Work closely with the client project team to report project status, issues, mitigation, and other project related activities

•       Work closely with offshore team to facilitate development of a solution

 

Must Have Skills:

•       Must have excellent understanding of modern programming technologies such as Java, ASP, and C-Sharp

•       Must have excellent understanding of development framework such as Java EE, Spring, and .NET

•       Must have excellent understanding of web technologies

•       Must have at least 5 years of experience in developing enterprise applications in cross platform technologies

•       Should have worked in heterogeneous system environments (Unix/Windows) providing enterprise solutions

•       Sound understanding of system architecture

•       Good knowledge of SOA and application/business system integration

 

Desired Skills:

•       Should have exposure to support and maintenance management processes

•       Desirable to have exposure to the entertainment business and studios
