Title: IT Business Analyst with Healthcare experience

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Washington DC

 

Job Description:

 

Business Analyst to provide business, healthcare, and IT expertise to support the implementation of a large-scale health care IT project.

The Analyst will provide broad business, strategic, healthcare delivery, and functional subject matter expertise on a continual basis over a wide range of topics.

Responsibilities will include conducting research on business and strategic issues facing the Health Benefit Exchange, delivering presentations to executive-level management, and coordinating and executing operational activities within the Exchange.

The Analyst will work closely with a Senior IT Consultant to support team efforts for a successful IT system implementation.

Required Skills:
• Business analysis and business process reengineering experience in the health or health information field
• Experience and high degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience designing and generating reports, graphs, and dashboards using reporting platforms
• Experience in one of the following domains: Medicaid/Medicare billing, Hospital Administration, Health Insurance
• Experience leading executive meetings and/or delivering presentations to executive-level management

Education:
Masters Degree
