Change Management Consultant

Location          :   Atlanta, GA

Contract Term:  6 months

Local Candidates preferred

 

Position Summary

Change Management professional with experience on complex ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

-              Contributes to change management deliverables, plans and activities for assigned project(s) within the program

-              Responsible for Change Management activities as follows:

*             Ensures the implementation of the change management strategy and plan

*             Responsible for change management deliverables required by program methodology

*             Ensures the quality of all deliverables, including managing necessary reviews/approvals

*             Facilitates meetings, and plans and hosts project events

*             Works closely with Change Management, Communication & Training Team and Program Leaders to manage and resolve both project and change management risks/issues

*             Creates program, project team and organizational communication content as required

*             Creates and delivers business readiness and change agent/champion events for leaders and end users

*             Develops informational briefings

*             Facilitates the Capability Transfer process for assigned project(s)

- Reports time, status, and expenses to OCM manager weekly

Experience Requirements

- 5 years of experience in healthcare or software industry preferred

- 5+ years of experience as lead Change Management Consultant in a major ERP implementation

- 5+ years of hands-on experience independently identifying client needs and expectations

- 5+ years of experience working with Organizational Change Management tools and techniques, including conducting assessments aimed at identifying change readiness, change impact, needs, and risks, as well as stakeholder engagement and management techniques

- 5+ years of experience in analyzing information, making strategic change management decisions, developing recommendations, and guiding others' decision making associated with change management, including the potential benefits, consequences, and impact

- 7+ years of experience in creating communications, training programs, and knowledge management materials

- Overall experience focused on Organizational Change Management, including: Executive Alignment, Executive Coaching, Stakeholder Assessment & Management, Change Agent Network development, Organization & Job Design, Communication, and Training

- Prefer Master's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience.

- Experience with large-scale organizational change effort

- Certifications in key Organizational Change Management processes are desirable; CMP designation is a plus.

- Thorough understanding and successful implementation experience in change management and communication process design, development, and implementation.

- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

- Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies

- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

- Excellent active listening skills

- Problem solving and root cause identification skills

- Strong analytic and decision making abilities

- Must be a team player and able to work with and through others

- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

- Previous consulting experience is a plus

- Ability to prioritize deliverables and activities in a fast-paced, complex environment

 

Technical Skill Requirements

Expert level MS Office skills required

 

•             Healthcare and/or software industry experience preferred

•             Must be able to provide work samples specifically related to ERP project work

•             Must be able to provide previous client references
