Position: Network Tester

Location: New Jersey

Job description:

•  Testing of ASR 9K is a must.

•  Experience in IOS-XR environment.

•  Network Testing using scripting Perl, TCL/Tk python 

•  Command line hands on knowledge of Cisco routers and switches including:

•  ASR9K running native IOS-XR

•  Catalyst 2900 series switches

•  Catalyst 6500 series switches

•  Cisco GSR platform

•  Cisco 7200 platform

•  Spirent and IXIA test tools

•  SNMP testing (traps and MIBS)

Network Protocols

•  Detailed knowledge of BGP, OSPF, static and MPLS routing

•  Ability to decode and analyze packets

•  Detailed knowledge of Access Control Lists

•  Knowledge of SNMP useful

Useful Additional Skills

•  UNIX workstation operation, particularly Solaris and LINUX

•  Remote Access experience with dial up modems

•  Knowledge of database applications built on Oracle

•  Ability to write test documentation

•  Ability to work with vendors on problem resolution
