| Job Description | : | Description of Work The OnBase Developer works in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-driven organizational framework and provides OnBase development expertise. This role is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and supporting the OnBase Document Management System (DMS) for clients. The OnBase Developer will: Work with OnBase team members, project leads and other IT teams to gather business requirements and user specifications; implement enhancements based on requirements analysis Design, develop and implement requirements-driven solutions; document all implementation activities, enhancements and change requests Provide OnBase troubleshooting support for test and production environments; investigate the origin of any system and system defects and resolve issues/perform bug fixes Assist testing teams with test activities, as needed Translate user specifications and business needs into requirements; determine and communicate the level of effort (LOE) to project management staff for requirements implementation activities for OnBase; seek cost effective solutions Use OnBase expertise to make recommendations; suggest product strategies and efficient usage Research and respond to all functionality issues within established service level agreement (SLA) timeframes; work with vendors and service providers to track, escalate and resolve issues Create and maintain a problem resolution tracking and logging process for OnBase issues; provide regular input for project status reports and provide problem-solving statistics Provide input for user guides, training documentations and assist with creating customized technical documentation for OnBase topics that are client and project-specific Research and stay current with industry best practices and platform modernization for document management systems; perform and install upgrades as necessary Develop custom forms and workflows, add custom code and manage user access; work with information security (IS) team members to ensure proper, secure access administration Perform all work in alignment with established IT and IS processes, protocols and procedures Maintain industry/technical knowledge base and facilitate/maintain industry relationships Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service Support assigned systems with on-call availability and respond within agreed upon timeframes Perform other relevant duties based upon experience Required Experience Five (5) or more years of experience with providing technical oversight and hands-on support for document, records or content management systems Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in IT development, programming, design, analysis and implementation Two (2) or more years of demonstrated experience with OnBase or similar technology in a support, administrative or development role Hands on experience with object-oriented technologies and knowledge of available software architectures and various server, operating system and network environments Familiarity with end-to-end business solutions using Software Development Life Cycle and/or Agile methodologies Basic knowledge of C#.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET and PL/SQL Strong knowledge of workflow management and development Working knowledge of integrating document management software with other applications Proven ability to understand and translate client needs into best-fit solutions Proven ability to collaborate with other IT and non-IT personnel to develop strategies Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources Preferred Experience Healthcare industry background Experience working in an SOA framework Experience as a Systems Analyst Critical Skills Interpersonal Communication Programming Troubleshooting Implementation Issue Tracking/Resolution Technical Documentation IT Development Relational Databases SQL Customization Configuration Document Type/Form Configuration Document/Record/Content Management Systems Workflow Management/Creation Requirements Analysis Requirements Elicitation Organization Problem-solving Project Management Detail-oriented Education and Certification BS/BA or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline with five (5) or more years of experience related to this position Relevant IT certifications are preferred |
