Job Description
The EA Program Management Group is responsible for:
• Creating and executing project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Directly manage project development from beginning to end. By identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities, this Family is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a project as well as scope. Deliverables are prepared by the Project team and reviewed before passing to client to ensure requirements are met with a quality output in an efficient and effective manner. Project Management methodology is applied in order to enforce project standards and best practices. With effective monitoring and control methods, project risks are reduced and mitigated towards resolution in a transparent manner. Additionally, all project documentation remains readily available and accessible for true insight into project health and status.
• Maintaining the project budget and managing any third party consultants as applicable. Ensures timely and accurate analytical understating of project profitability, margins, and utilization
• Ensures that the project is aligned with a business need and maintains an understanding that requirements being delivered are relevant to the business
• Facilitates team and client meetings effectively. Chairs regular status meetings with project team(s). Keeps project team(s) well informed of changes within the organization that can be project impacting. Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and/or stakeholders. Delivers engaging, informative and well organized presentations. Resolves and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Possess general understanding in the technical areas in which the project is rooted; enough to facilitate and engage with appropriate subject mater expert(s). Maintains a general awareness of new technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
