Duration : 18 months

Location- Boston MA

 

Candidates must have excellent communication skills

 

Job Description:

Financial Institution is looking for an experienced front-end/UI Developer to be a key contributor in our application development group, to work closely with Development and QA team throughout software project iterations and releases and deliver high-quality products.

• Interact with Business and Development team to build and prototype application features based on brief requirements
• Produce high quality code that's optimized for performance and scalability
• Participate in design and code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

Qualifications

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills and organizational skills
• Ability to work with graphic design tools, such as Photoshop
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
• Exposure to Agile technologies (SCRUM, XP etc.)

Very nice to have

• Mobile, HTML5, CSS3
• MVC, Web Services, ASP.NET/C#
• Experience in the financial and banking industry
• Able to show examples/portfolio of previous work
