Position: Sr. Data Modeler

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 2 year assignment

Interview: require face to face interview after successful phone screens.

NOTE: CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.

 

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience defining Logical and Physical data models for OLTP systems
2. Minimum of five (5) years experience designing data warehouse schemas - - e.g., star and snow-flake.
3. Strong Knowledge of database design to achieve integration of different data structure from multiple sources.

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS:
The additional skill sets listed below will be considered in determining the best candidate for the position.

1. Minimum of five (5) years experience with MS SQL Server (MS Certification a plus)
2. Minimum of eight (8) years experience with Oracle (OCP certifications a plus)
3. Experience with XML

4. Demonstrated understanding of Data Administration principles and development of corresponding standards.

5. Knowledge of ETL practices and ETL Tools
6. Experience in object relational mapping and UML modeling
7. Understanding of J2EE and EJBs
8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team.
