Position: Sr. Oracle Database Administrator

 

Location: Manhattan, NY

Duration: 2 months (Strong possibility of extension beyond this period)

Rate: Quote your best

 

In-person at the client location required – Locals or who can attend F2F on own expenses

 

Skills:

·         Building Oracle RAC environment

·         Must have experience in Configure Dataguard between multiple locations

·         Configuring ASM disks,

·         Building Dataguard Databases,

·         Perform hands-on support on database servers running OEL Oracle Enterprise Linux (or Red Hat Linux).

·         Testing Failover & Switchover between Dataguard & Primary databases

·         Build out database environment during 'lift-n-shift' process.

·         Perform regression testing.

·         Coordinate and work with other DBAs, PeopleSoft system admins, and Application developers

·         Enabling Technology support group to resolve issues that surface in the infrastructure.

·         Assist in the preparation of procedures and runbooks
