Roles/Responsibilities:

 

• Thorough knowledge transition process, develop a strong understanding of system enhancements to date (Siebel 7.8 to 8.2.2.2 preferred).
• Research, debug, and resolve issues with migrated code and update if required for future enhancements.
• Actively participate in design and development of new enhancements, integrations using Siebel 8.2 and other technologies within the organization.
• Configure and customize Siebel fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards, workflows, etc.
• Maintain workflow rules, field updates and email alerts within Oracle OPA.
• Maintain user roles, security and profiles.
• Maintain security and access rights, including organization-wide defaults, roles, role hierarchy, sharing rules, public groups, teams and folders.
• Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and technologies by working with the PMO office.
• Provide on-going support and system administration to quickly fix production issues.
• Provide insight into products and other technologies that may be effectively leveraged for use within the CRM space.
• Understand and adhere to employer deployment methodologies.

 

Skills Required:

 

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 2+ years experience as a Siebel 8.x configuration specialist for Enterprise (preferably recent expertise using Siebel Public Sector for a large organization) including direct experience with Mainframe (COBOL, IMS, and some VSAM prior knowledge will be most helpful).
• Hands-on migration of data into Siebel 8.2 Public Sector custom business objects.
• Demonstrated functional understanding of CRM.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage own time effectively and prioritize work schedule, based on impact on business.
