Job Title: Software Engineer - Network Element Embedded Management
Duration: 9 Months

Location: Santa Barbara, San Jose, Boston or Petaluma

Job Description:

As directed by the Group Lead and/or Management, develop software derived from the System Requirements and utilizing the EXA Development libraries and tool chains. The software shall support NETCONF and SNMP Agent Interfaces to a range of external and local clients. Additional software shall be required to support User Security and Authentication (Radius Client).

Qualifications:

10 years software development for embedded telecommunications systems utilizing a Linux OS environment. 5 years of direct experience of implementation in one or more of the following areas:
1. SNMP Agent development exploiting a broad range of both standard and enterprise MIB's. Experience with MEF MIB's a large plus. NetSNMP experience preferred.
2. NETCONF Agent over SOAP/HTTPS, SSH and TLS transports.
3. User Authentication and Security utilizing a Radius Client to a Radius Server for external authentication.
In addition to the above implementation experience, candidates must demonstrate in-depth understanding of the application and utilization of XSD/XML.
