Senior ASP.NET Developer

Location: Red Bank, NJ

Duration: Ean of this year + Extn

Requirements:

·         Minimum 5 years experience

·         Strong communication skills

·         Strong background in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET)

·         Understanding of MVC design pattern

·         Knowledge and experience with relational database technologies (MSSQL and/or Oracle).

·         Knowledge and experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc).

Desired Skills:

•        Experience with ASP.NET MVC Framework

•        Experience working in an Agile development environment.

•        Experience with NHibernate

•        Knowledge of OOAD principles and methodologies (e.g. UML).

•        Knowledge and experience with unit testing practices (NUnit).

•        Expertise in any other Object Oriented Language (C++, Java).

•        Willingness to expand into other types of development such as Java, iPhone, PHP, etc.

•        Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. MS Project) highly desired.

 

Responsibilities

·         Participates in analysis and design of domain problems, provides solutions and alternatives.

•        Collaborates with developers in implementing solutions, writes technical specifications, documents code and design, using UML and other aids.

•        Keeps up to date in advancements in technologies and frameworks, and has zeal to learn.

•        Willingness to learn new technologies.

•        Prepares status and management reports as required.
