Skill and Role Summary:
Technical lead- Demandware
Technical lead will be responsible for the overall technical support of multiple e-commerce sites on Demandware platform. This person has to work with multiple stakeholders of the clients, third Party vendors, and manage the production support team of Sapient. In addition, the person will be responsible for managing technical support, technical analysis, effort estimation, delivery of milestones, and overall product quality. The person is also responsible for the release management for the client.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage production support team. Point of contact for production support for the offshore support team and client.
- Triaging of support issues and JIRA tickets and Prioritizing tasks for Offshore support team.
- Defining scope and Requirement gathering for the enhancement projects. Communicate timelines, progress and status reports.
- Work with external cross-functional technology teams to troubleshoot, estimate, and coordinate system defects and enhancements
- Interfacing with third party vendors on behalf of the clients.
- Build and release management.
Requirements:
- Client facing skills.
- Demandware experience- mainly backend.
- Experience as a Technical lead on an ecommerce project.
- Experience working in Onsite/Offshore model.
- Strong communication skills.
