Qualifications
BS degree in related field or four to six years of progressively
responsible Information Systems management experience, or the
equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Software development principles
Project management tools and techniques
SQL, database schema design, data normalization, and management of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MS Access, Postgres)
Reporting platforms (Microsoft Reporting Services, MS Access reporting)
Visual Basic for Applications, VB.NET or C#
Windows development environments
Working knowledge of:
Software development in a collaborative environment, preferably involving open source projects
Developing technical plans and recommendations
Developing technical and end-user system documentation
Linux/Unix development environments
MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects within specific timelines.
Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to pass a national criminal record check which includes fingerprint identification.

Web-base application development (Ruby on Rails or other MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
Software testing, preferably with experience in test-driven development (e.g., RSpec, Cucumber, Selenium)
Code repository tools (git)
Experience working with non-profit organizations
Experience working with demand-responsive transportation or transit-related technology
Physical Requirements- Repetitive motion, prolonged sitting , Frequent lifting of items from below the knees or above the shoulders , Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, Extensive visual involvement
