We are interested in general application development and design competency. Familiarity and experience with common architecture/design patterns and .Net best practices is key to ensuring decisions resulting in the development of excellent technology solutions and technology teams.

The ideal candidate should combine technology experience with common sense, and design pragmatism to ensure that development activities meet business requirements and are of the highest quality.

 

We are a primarily an ASP.NET shop and do most of our work in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL. We apply a modern hybrid development methodology combining elements of Agile and waterfall to create a predictable and mature SDLC. Our technologists are involved in all aspects of project lifecycle, working closely with the business community, and with members of other technical disciplines (Architecture, DBA, PM, BA, QA) from project inception through transition. We value well rounded individuals who bring a mix of a strong understanding of business concepts, hard technical skills, structured problem solving methodology, peripheral vision and interpersonal skills to the table.

At the firm we place a high degree of emphasis on personal accountability ensuring the our contractors hold both themselves and others accountable to produce excellent outcomes.

 

Responsibilities Include:

¿ Review and interpret business requirements

¿ Develop component and object level designs

¿ High performance and secure data management operations within code

¿ Design, develop, and unit test new applications to meet requirements

¿ Create low level design artifacts, as well as detailed code with accordance to best industry standards

¿ Manage deployments into QA, UAT, and Production platforms

Position Requirements:

¿ 3+ years professional experience in software development and integration of vendor products into an enterprise setting

¿ Strong technical skills in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, AJAX, Web Services

¿ Strong communications skills with the ability to express and understand complex technical concepts

¿ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

¿ Effective engagement with business users on understanding requirements and prototyping solutions

¿ Experience in structured SDLC processes

¿ Flexible ¿ able to work on varied technologies and switch between one environment to another in an efficient manner

¿ Strong relationship management skills ¿ with both technical and business staff

¿ SQL Server expertise preferred

Preferred Candidate would also meet the following criteria:

¿ Experience with Front-Office implementations such as CRM, Workflows, Content Management, Workflow solutions and Analytics

¿ Financial systems development experience

¿ Experience in development of Sharepoint and VBA applications

¿ Strong base fundamental computer science, and software engineering skills that are transferable to across domains
