Role: Sr. Java developer

Location:  Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 9 month

 

Senior-level Java developer with related experience in Java Systems. This role will be to harden/refactor/productionalize the core integration and communications packages developed by our clients organization. In addition to the Core Skills of Java Development, Linux and WebSphere Application Server, our client is looking for individuals who have maturity/strength or experience in developing socket/systems communication, messaging applications, standalone java components along with JEE experiences. Some related JCA/JMS experience would be a plus. Also, experience with MQ, IBM WebSphere Application Server or experience with systems programming for embedded devices, appliances or commercial deployable software. General Requirements: This position is to complete productionalization of components/systems that will be deployed to ALL client locations. We are looking for related experience that would complement the maturity/discipline to build systems for mass deployment. The Core Skills are Java Development, Linux and WebSphere Application Server. Additionally, custom development (in JAVA) by outside contractors, so there isn't one key area our client is looking for. Just solid IT Gurus and Disciplined Developers. Candidates that have had experience building systems that were being sold, distributed or embedded is crucial. These individuals typically will have the skills sets/discipline needed to work in this space. This team will have client SMEs working with them, but these resources will be responsible for the majority of work and need to work independently.

Java developer with related experience in Web App development and related UI components. This position would be to harden/refactor/productionalize code developed by our client. It will be scoped around the User Interface portion and is primary developed in JEE Standard WAR/EAR packages. Experience with Build, source control, SDLC, Java and the ability/comfort to troubleshoot, profile and clean existing code.

This position is to complete productionalization of components/systems that will be deployed to all client locations. We are looking for related experience that would complement the maturity/discipline to build systems for mass deployment.

The Core Skills are Java Development, Linux and WebSphere Application Server.
Candidates that have had experience building systems that were being sold, distributed or embedded is crucial.
These individuals typically will have the skills sets/discipline needed to work in this space.
This team will have our client's SMEs working with them, but these resources will be responsible for the majority of work and need to work independently.
