We are looking for Datastage Developer – Location – Minnetonka, MN – 6 – 12 Months Contract Position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Expertise in DATASTAGE required, building jobs to extract, transform and load (ETL) data from disparate, highly fragmented

·         Technical focus in ETL - Datastage (SSIS is nice to have but Datastage is primary)

·         Must have Strong DataStage experience

·         Experience with Data Modeling and Query Optimization

·         Understanding of ETL processes and Best Practices thereof.

·         Provide advice on project design concepts or design changes.

·         Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.

·         Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.

·         Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.

·         Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.

·         Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.

·         Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.

·         Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.

·         Good Communication Skills

·         Must be able to travel up to 50% but depending on project there may be no travel.

·         Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
