Requirements :

 

We are currently looking for a Test Engineer for a 6 month contract that may extend.  In this role, you will be working in an Agile environment, as the sole testing resource on a Scrum team.  You will be focused on conducting testing for the integration of a third party booking engine.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Serve as the sole QA resource on a Scrum team

•             Performs system integration, functional, regression, performance and user interface testing

•             Work with the team to identify potential risk and develop a plan to mitigate these risks

•             Play the role of internal consultant within the team as it relates to the overall testing plan

•             Work on testing Web Services and applications developed in Oracle

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

•             Experience testing an enterprise-class system that supports a high volume of traffic with fast response times and 99.9% uptime

•             Ability to work with little supervision and/or oversight

•             Experience with XML

•             Experience with SoapUI

•             Experience with the software development life cycle, specifically with the Agile test methodologies

 

Experience with any of the following, though not required, would be beneficial:

•             Hospitality, reservations, or similar experience

•             Familiarity with OTA specifications

•             Familiarity with Online Travel sites

•             Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems
