Windows Device Drivers/ C/C++ Code developer

Location: Hillsboro, OR.

Duration: 6+ Months.

Joining: Immediate.

Interview Mode: Telephonic & Skype.

Rate: Open.

 

Job Description:

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
•     Experience in Debug & Triage (reproduction of the issues, identification of the root cause – set up/hw/configuration/code, code level debugging and propose potential fix) of Windows device driver (kernel mode)
•     Windows (WDM) Driver Knowledge - architecture & debugging
•        Experience with Microsoft standard APIs - SDK and DirectX
•        OS Internals Knowledge (WIN7, WIN8, Vista, XP)
•        System set up and tear downs (Mobile and Desktop)
•        Strong C/C++ code development skills
•        Good written and verbal communication skills
•             Experience with debugging tools such as WinDbg, Visual Studio debugger, etc
•        Strong discipline in all activities
 
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):         
•         Experience in development & bug fixing of Windows device driver (kernel model) subsystem (e.g. display, media, 3D, sensor, etc)
•      Solid working knowledge of modern PC architecture
•        Solid knowledge of MS applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook); generating reports/charts/graphs.
•        Experience in installing and configuring modern PC BIOS's and Windows* operating systems (for example, Vista* and Win7*) with a variety of common peripherals (for example, memory, PCI cards and USB* devices, and multimedia software and/or hardware)
•        Experience with Microsoft* SDK's, PC benchmarks, and diagnostic utilities
