1) Solutions Architect: server/desktop/storage (Technical Solution Architect) - Need expert level experience with server, storage and Microsoft technology stack. Knowledge and experience with the technical architecture for mobile devices is also desired, but not necessary.
Role responsibilities:
Has technical vision and responsibility for the end-to-end technical solution. Defines the architecture of an IT solution. Is responsible for understanding enterprise architecture, reference architect, standards and technology direction. Accountable to make the solution consistent with the enterprise direction.
o Business knowledge specific to a business domain
o Works with the Enterprise Architect to align with enterprise direction
o Expert knowledge and understanding of applicable EA Principles, Technology Directions, Reference Architectures and Standards and assists in ensuring solutions follow EA direction.
o Will assist in championing and leading enterprise solutions that meet EA direction.
o Assist and co-author reference architecture, technology directions and maintenance of standards and documentation.
o Uses a disciplined method to ensure consistency and repeatable results.
o Guides Engineers in creating architecture and design. Ensures that the technical team understands the vision.
o Lead/participate in detailed design reviews
o Deliverables include: System Context, Architecture Overview, Architecture Decisions, Conceptual / Logical Data Models, Infrastructure Models with Engineer/domain architecture assistance.
o Work with the business to ensure their requirements are being met by the project and are compliant with enterprise standards.
o Engage with both operational support teams and project teams for implementation of overall design.
