Job Title: Automation Tester
Duration: 6 Months

Location: Atlanta, GA
Interview Type: Phone Hire

Job Description:

With minimal direction writes scripts and executes test cases during functional/system/integration testing.
With minimal direction writes manual and automation scripts and executes test cases during functional/system/integration testing.
Will analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test cases/scripts.
Will write detailed defect reports and work with developers and other project team members to resolution.
Will ensure compliance with all Macy's Agile/Lean development processes.

The candidate must posses:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to work independently with limited direction
The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations
Demonstrated experience in Test Driven Development and/or Behaviour Driven "?Development techniques
Ability to convert Business and System requirements into positive and negative testcases

Technical skill set needed:
5 to 7 years experience in testing
Hands on experience with test automation in Continuous Integration Testing (Selenium in JUnit frame work preferred)
Experience in automating web services (i.e. SOAPUI , Jmeter etc.)
Experience with open source tools (i.e. Selenium, Waitr, Jmeter, etc)
Experience with backend automation testing (preferred experience with DB2 and Oracle )
Test-driven development(TDD) and/or Behavior Driven development (BDD) experience in Agile is desirable
Experience with Continuous Integration tools is a plus but not required (Jenkins, Maven, Ant, etc)
Experience in mainframe and client server testing
Experience in testing in batch and interactive mainframe environments
Experience in a Java/Messaging environment will be a plus
Experience with Manhattan Associates WMOS is preferred but not required.
