I have a position DevOps - CLOUD/ IT Opened is San Jose, CA for 3+ Months Contract Start Date ASAP, Rate $58/hr on C2C.

Required skills

●        5+ years developing backup software, NTFS, network storage, clusters, hypervisor integration, or related technology.

●        Deep system and kernel-level understanding of Windows or Linux.

●        General understanding of the functionality for virtualization, provisioning, backup, cloning, network storage, or similar server technology.

●        Knowledge of, and experience with, Agile methodologies and test-driven development.

●        Strong emphasis on quality.

 

Desired skills (not mandatory)

●        Experience with source code control and/or configuration management systems

●        Experience with developing REST APIs

●        Experience with Java

●        Understanding of APIs and experience using REST APIs

●        Knowledge and experience with one or more hypervisors - ESX, Xen, KVM, Hyper-V

●        General understanding of one or more Cloud APIs - OpenStack, CloudStack, AWS, vCloud

●        Open Source contribution to Xen, KVM, Linux or OpenStack

●        Experience with Python or Perl or Ruby

●        Shell or WMI scripting

●        Knowledge of simple workflow engines and job management systems
