Location               :               Helena, Montana

Start date            :               8^th July

Duration              :               1 year

 

 

Job Description

1)      ICD-9 / ICD-10 SME for providing consulting services in ICD-10 specific projects for Payer domain

2)      To work closely with all stakeholders including third parties to understand and document business and system requirements

3)      Required to develop ICD-10 solutions to problems and assist in implementing improved or new business processes

4)      Work on ICD-10 Neutrality Approach

5)      Work on ICD-10 Testing Strategy

6)      Develop Use Cases for Clinical testing scenarios around ICD-10

7)      Work on HCL proprietary tool for ICD-9 to ICD-10 conversion

Skills & Experience 

1)      5-7 years of experience as certified Medical Coder and Business Analysis

2)      Extensive experience in US Healthcare Industry with emphasis on providing solutions for complex business and IT problems

3)      ICD-9 to ICD-10 conversion expert including enterprise wide experience of assessment, planning, remediation and implementation

4)      Hands-on coding experience with in-depth knowledge of ICD-9 / ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and other code sets

5)      Knowledge of HIPAA 4010 / 5010

6)      Experience in project management methodology is desired 

7)      Excellent verbal and written communication skills
