Job Description:

VB6 to VB.NET Migration experience is must

· Application is used by the Supply and Trading group and is used to pay suppliers, captures contracts and make corrections

· Application has been in use for 12 years

· Current Application is written in VB6 and they are going to be converting this application to VB.NET (Desktop)

· These developers are going to be responsible for:

· Looking at the current VB6 screens and replicating it in VB.NET (might also make additional modifications and enhancements where applicable)

· Digging into the VB6 code and replicating it and making necessary changes

· Will be doing some work with Middle tier-Business Logic

· The new VB.NET Application will be a desktop application (winforms)

· They are ok with people that have more recent C#.NET and web based development as long as they have done VB.NET for desktop applications in the past
