Position Requirements:

Duties:
- Manage execution of assigned QA activities, including software quality assurance and testing.
- Perform business and data analysis in partnership with application development team and existing BA staff to enable not only testing, but understanding of developed applications' purpose and business use.
- Implement QA project plans and test plans that span a product's lifecycle and cover usability, design and engineering quality assurance.
- Serve a dual role as an embedded project QA resource and also as a member of central Change Management/QA and Support team.
- Train new QA staff in application knowledge and testing practices.
- Independently document and present test strategies and process improvement plans to Management.
- Conduct gap analyses of requirements and develop QA metrics for assessing the quality of test deliverables.
- Be proficient in communicating, prioritizing and tracking test execution, defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action where required.
- Participate in interactions with a variety of internal and external users to acquire and exchange information on QA issues and processes.
- Display flexibility under changing priorities, and willingness to act as a member of a broad IT support team.Other Notes:
Plans, develops, and executes various components of system testing and/or quality assurance. Approaches testing and quality assurance from a business point of view by creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure delivered functionality meets the business need. Develops specific test conditions and expected results for regression, functionality, and stress testing. Executes test scripts to validate test cases, including creating and executing complex automated test scripts. Creates QA test procedures to assure accurate and repeatable test results. Creates test estimates from design documentation and creates quality assurance project schedules. Creates documents to apprise project team members as to the status of meeting defined quality goals.
