Job Description:
The Network Manager's role is plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of network, voice and video systems to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets. This is a hand on role which includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links. The Network Manager will also schedule and direct the activities of a team of outsourced network specialists to resolve end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. This position may be responsible for IT strategy as it relates to disaster recovery plans, IT security, and other IT service provisioning
5 years' experience managing people and systems including configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, CUCM, Telepresence, etc. Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as, routers, switches, Call Managers, Turrets etc.
Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards. Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles.Experience installing network cabling and patching telephony systems.
Experience Disaster Recovery, Software provisioning and support.
