Senior Backend Java Developer
Chicago,IL
6 +Months Contract

 

Required:
Excellent implementation skills in Java
Knowledge of multi-core and distributed programming techniques
Strong SQL Scripting abilities
Knowledge of performance tuning, troubleshooting and debugging techniques
Knowledge with working in UNIX environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide creative and elegant solutions to problems
Ability to work independently and in a team environment as needed
Proven track record of quickly learning new technologies and applications

 

Preferred:
Experience with Financial Industry messaging protocols
Interest in financial markets
C++ Programming experience and Multi-Threading
