This position will be in support of developing windows-based desktop applications using Microsoft technologies. Developer will work within an iterative development process and follow best practices and standards.
Key Role/Position Description:
The developer will take guidance from the lead developer or project manager to convert application requirements into functional solutions.
Technical Skills:
Object Oriented Programming.
N-tier Application development.
.NET Framework 4.0, 3.5, and 2.0
· C#
· WPF, MVVM
· Visual Studio 2010
· ASP.NET (both WinForms and MVC)
· Telerik Windows controls
· WCF
· LINQ
· NHibernate
· TFS/SVN
· Unit Testing
· SQL Server 2008 and oracle 10g
Functional/Industry Knowledge:
Experience designing and developing windows based applications.
Experience implementing, designing, and coding object oriented solutions.
Experience working with and adhering to a standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ensure effective and consistent systems architecture.
Design technical solutions to accommodate new functionality requirements.
Work with the Team Lead to ensure project deliverables are met.
Create systems documentation deliverables.
Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written, to end users and executive management.
Must be self-motivated and take initiative in performing tasks.
Team player must be able to work professionally and collaboratively with the government customer and other contract members of the project team.
