US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Urgently Required Senior .Net developer ,Wilimington, DE

Senior .Net developer 
Corp-to-Corp rate: $60/hr
Wilimington, DE 
Start Date: 09/23/2013
 End Date: 03/17/2014 

 

Responsibilities: 

- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle
- Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.
- Responsibilities include systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.
- Communication - Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
- Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
- Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
- Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time to market imperatives
- Maintain records to document program development and revisions
- Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production.  
- Participate in coding and other development activities for delivering complex projects. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

• At least 5 Years' experience in Application development (.NET 4.0, C#, SQL) 
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery 
• WCF/ASMX/REST services experience. 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly analytical and logical to analyze complex business requirements and come up with a solid technical solution. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MSCD certification (.NET, SQL).
• Previous Financial Services industry experience. 
• 2 Year experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects. 
• Experience with Agile development methodologies. 
• Solid design and programming skills.
• Experience with WCSF.
