US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Direct Client: JSF&Websphere Consultant

Contract

Rate:  $50/hour on C2C

Should have worked on JSF and Web sphere

 

 

Position Key Responsibilities:

• Interact effectively with all players:  business analysts, architects, developers, quality assurance specialists and management
• Partner with Project Manager to ensure timely and accurate communication of progress/status/issues
• Use analytical and problem solving skills to identify and remove implementation impediments
• Understand and comply with architectural standards and designs
• Take part in code reviews, results validation and testing of code


Required Work Experience and Skills:

• Strong, in-depth technical Java experience (5+ years) preferred
• Expertise required in the following areas: Java, J2EE, JSF, Rational Application Developer (RAD 7.5 / 8), WebSphere application server (WAS), JUNIT, XML, MQ, Web Services, JavaScript
• Strong understanding of various RDBMS like ORACLE, DB2, SQL Server etc.
• Strong SQL programming skills with ability to write SQL statements and tune existing SQL for better performance

• Ability to develop and implement the technical specification
• Experience with CVS, Clearcase (or other Software Configuration Versioning tool)
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a must
• Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments, juggle competing demands and work under pressure of frequent and tight deadlines

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar preferred
