Title: UI Developer (HTML5) / Java Developer (Server-Side)
Location: Highlands Ranch, CO
Duration: 1 years, then additional extensions
Interview timeline and process: Phone screening, then ONSITE (technical testing)
Must have skills:
Expert at Problem Tracing, Scanning and diagnosis in Java, JVM. . 3 years min Linux experience, Unix / Solaris . GUI, HTML5 development
Nice to have skills:
Financial systems tools experience - ISO85/83; ISO transaction knowledge - nice to have, not required
Preference on industry background or previous companies worked for:
IBM websphere; Portlet experience
REQUIREMENTS:
5 years of professional experience developing object oriented software.
2-3 years of GUI, HTML5 development.
Must have an extensive background in developing fault-tolerant back-end applications including multi-process and multi-threaded architectures.
Must have a solid background in object oriented analysis (OOA) and object oriented design (OOD) techniques using formal methods.
Experience in the application of various object oriented design patterns is required. The capability of assessing and rationalizing design trade-offs is essential.
3 years of Java object oriented programming experience is required. The candidate must have strong Java programming skills. SQL programming experience is preferred.
3 years experience in developing Unix-based software (Solaris preferred) including scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.) is required
3 years experience with industry standard tools and frameworks such as Ant, JUnit, log4j and others is a highly desired.
Experience in C++, TCP/IP (i.e. socket based programming) and LDAP is a strong plus.
Experience with Clearcase and ClearQuest is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills are a pre-requisite.
