Job Title: Java Web Services Developer

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Duration: 6+ Months Contract potential extension

Phone or  FTF Interview: Phone & FtF

Position Description:

We are looking for a mid to senior level service developer with REST experience. This resource will be working on our mobile digital customer project.

 

Essential Job Functions:              

·          REST service development

·          Code reviews

·          Team leadership

·          Agile activity participation

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidates should possess:

·         3-5 years working in software development

·         Experience working with relational databases

·         Experience developing web services (SOAP and REST)

·         Excellent Java and Java EE skills

·         Experience working with source control tools (subversion, git, etc.)

·         Experience working with xUnit set of unit test frameworks (NUnit, JUnit, etc.)

 

Desired Skills:

·         Experience working in an agile environment

·         Ability to technically lead and mentor development teams

·         Experience debugging production problems using stack and heap dumps
