US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Test Engineer - CA (NEED LOCALS) (GC & Citizens ONLY)

Test Engineer

Los Angeles, CA

12 Months

 

Only GC/USC's Local to CA.

 

Required Experience:

 

• 3 or more years of software test and QA engineering experience.

• Experience working with customers on requirements, testing, and system documentation.

• Experience analyzing system requirements in a test environment.

• Experience preparing system documentation, test plans, or test procedures.

• Experience writing and debugging automated test scripts.

• Experience with software integration builds.

• Knowledge of SDLC at an Enterprise level.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers.

 

Additional Experience a Plus:

 

• Experience with freight railroad or transit agency projects.

• Experience with any of these tools: bash (Bourne shell), Tcl, XML, Wireshark, Visio.

• Software programming in C (primary)/C++/Java on UNIX/Linux platform.

 

Education or Certification Requirements: BS degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be used in lieu of degree.
