Role: Drupal Developer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 months +
An innovative and dynamic IT company is seeking an experienced Senior Drupal Developer. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and team members to develop dynamic, interactive websites.
Responsibilities
•Gather requirements and architect solutions on the Drupal platform which address the needs of the client’s site users, internal business users, and site management personnel
•Adapt/develop robust business user workflow processes
•Develop Drupal modules, templates, and themes
•Develop large scale websites using Drupal
•Advise junior developers on Drupal best practices
Qualifications
•Deep understanding of Drupal solution architecture scenarios
•Comprehensive knowledge of common Drupal modules
•Thorough understanding and experience with the Drupal API
•Experience with module development
•Understanding of Drupal template system
•Solid development practices
•Solid experience with Drupal programming
•Extensive experience with PHP programming
•Strong experience with CSS and HTLM
•Excellent troubleshooting skills
•Experience with enterprise scale Drupal implementations
•Practical application of business user work-flow solutions
•Knowledge of Drupal performance optimization practices
•Knowledge of section 508 guidelines for developing government websites
•Java coding experience desirable
•Team lead experience desirable
Education/Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
•6-8 years of relevant experience in web application development
Requirement # 2:
Job Title: Unix Systems Administrator
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 months +
An innovative and dynamic IT company is seeking an experienced Unix Systems Administrator with at least five years of hands-on experience in Solaris/Red Hat Systems, backup and storage administration, and administering and building Solaris/Red Hat high-end servers in world-class production datacenters.
Responsibilities:
Administer Red Hat Enterprise 5 servers and maintain recent package levels for proper performance
· Configure backup client on UNIX servers
· Conduct capacity planning reviews with management
· Research current systems technologies and serve as subject matter expert on complex systems processes and procedures
· Provide technical solutions and escalated support for non-routine, highly complex technical issues
Qualifications:
| Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Solaris 10 System Administrator and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) ES 5 certifications desired Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of applicable experience. · Familiarity with Internet Technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS · Values-based personality with the ability to work selflessly in a team environment · Demonstrated working knowledge of web architectures including: web and web application servers, encryption, n-tier development/development strategies, databases, security mechanisms, directories, etc. · Ability to maintain positive and healthy relationships with all project team members and customers · Hands on experience with Internet and networking infrastructure design and implementation techniques |
